Hello,
I'm having the same annoying problem but I've never installed any kde packages.
aste@dv6790:~$ dpkg -S /usr/share/mime/packages/kde.xml
dpkg-query: no path found matching pattern /usr/share/mime/packages/kde.xml.
As all the other affected users the bug showed up after upgrading to
11.10
Nautilus displays application/x-extension-war as mimetype for war files
but it's not mapped in any mime files under /usr/share/mime/packages
I've tryed adding the following to the freedesktop file without success
mime-type type=application/x-extension-war
commentWar archive/comment
alias
Hi Sebastien,
here the mimetype for war files: application/x-extension-war
In Ubuntu 10.10 mimetype was: application/x-webarchive

Yes, it's a big problem, the only way to open it is rename war file or
extract archive with jar. There's another problem, too: if war file is
contained into an ear archive there's no way to open or rename it...

Changing 'Icon View Default' - 'Default zoom level' works
hello I have the same problem, too.
This error occours after upgrade to 11.10.
filer-roller doesn't recognize war extension (there are no problems with ear
and jar extensions).
Icon of war file is the generic icon, and not the file-roller icon.
If I change extension from war to zip, ear or jar
Also 11.04 Natty Narwhal is still affected by this bug. I did the work
with gnomebaker.

brasero can't use cdrdao to burn
I guess this has been fixed long ago.
Not really long ago, but it is not a serious problem any more.
By chance, I had this error just yesterday, after months of not seeing
it, while printing almost simultaneously from two different evince
instances.

Francesco, if you have still such a problem and are able to reproduce
it, please report a new bug, telling which version of Ubuntu you are
using and assign it to GTK+2.0 if you are using Natty or older or to
GTK+3.0 if you are using Oneiric.
Thank you. Should it happen again, and should I
