launch it e.g. Text Editor, some launchers do not populate the
application. For example:

Problem is in the Numix theme.

bitmap
Just did some testing and the problem is only with the Nimix theme.
Once it is selected the text and shadows diverge. Switching back to
another theme makes no difference

In xubuntu 16.04, after this fix, the xfce4 desktop text and shadows are
broken. On clean system, use Appearance/Style to change theme and the
problem is shown.

Upgraded my xubuntu 16.04 system on 01 Jul 2016. The apt update
included an upgrade to gtk2-engines-murrine. However, after the upgrade
and boot, the any desktop text, folder, launcher, etc. had a problem
with the text and shadow being quite far apart.
** Affects:
I run 64 bit ubuntu gnome 14.04.1 and use a Nvidia GTX750 card. I had
the same blank screen before the login. Updating to the 340 Nvidia
driver fixed the problem.

Mounted a USB thumb drive. Deleted some file. Went to the trans can
and deleted the files. System took about 10 seconds to do this. After
this was done it was discovered that every file in the home directory
deleted.

All versions of Ubuntu have form input size incorrectly defined. This
problem does not appear in Fedora 16, or on Windows 7, but in all
variations of Ubuntu. Test deck is a listed below. and image provided.

The problem is that Ubuntu is my main web development platform. The box
size set to 15 results in quite a bit of padding on the right side,
enough to mess up displays for FF on *Ubuntu only. Chrome does not have
this problem running on *Ubuntu's

The problem is a form with a size=20 in FF results in much extra padding at the
end of the text box (see attached). This padding does not exist in FF 7.01 on
Win7 or in Chrome on Ubuntu.

Ubuntu 11.10 beta with latest updates fails to detect the video card
for my thinkpad t60. For what its worth, a lspci does show the device.
I can log into Unity and it works OK, but the gnome 3 shell falls back.
