Same issue for me with 12.04 and Selphy CP750. However, came across this thread (link below) on the Ubuntu forums which suggests installing the CP520 driver instead works fine. I have done this and the printer works. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1159065&highlight=selphy
