I regret that I'm presently unable to test. My install is Ubuntu 14
(though up-to-date). I've been ill the past two years and not been able
to keep up. It looks like it will be longer still before I can test or
update. Best wishes.

It's been so long since I reported this that I no longer recall the
details. I'll check to see what I can find.

After years of fighting OO Writer's bullets and numbering, I have

This is still an issue with LibreOffice. I have to save my files as

I think I have found what causes this problem.
I have two printers attached, the HP 8600 with a duplexer, and an HP

Everything works as it should so long as I use only the 8600. However,

Duplexing no longer works (again)

When I generate a multi-page PDF from wikipedia, it prints double-sided.
That's why I reported earlier that duplexing was fixed. but, not with
Libre Office.
I just now saved the *.odt libre office job I reported a bit ago as a
PDF and printed it. It prints single-sided, just like the *.odt.
When a multi-page document is printed directly from a wikipedia article
(not PDF) or any other web page, it prints double-sided if I remember to
to check the printer options and change to duplex. Not a terribly
convenient configuration -- but how many options do you want to show on
a single page?
This bug has been resolved by a recent update. Duplexing now works.

The duplexer works properly in local manual mode, just as it did before.
