I just upgraded from 57.0.3 today to 58 from the official 14.04 repos and got this bug straight away. Downgrading back to 57.0.3 fixed it for the time being. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu.

Ian, I did an upgrade. If you know any packages I can swap round to make my install more like a fresh one that would be cool. I haven't had the cursor disappearing problem since removing xfce4 -power-manager and upower, and for some reason my laptop still suspends when the lid is closed. So I'm

Upgrading to 14.10 did not fix it for me. This is not a bug in light-locker, I removed the package from my system and it has not helped. Post #32 workaround brings back the mouse cursor. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to

Removing upower seems to fix the problem, but xfce4-power-manager depends on upower so you lose the ability to hibernate by closing the lid. Not a good workaround. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xorg in Ubuntu.

Reported at XFCE: https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11248 Also for anyone getting annoyed by this bug, a workaround is to install pcmanfm, which is based on Thunar. Then just set your default file manager to pcmanfm in the Settings Manager - Preferred Applications. The two file managers

Definitely not a duplicate of that evince bug. The two bugs don't seem remotely related. I clicked to remove the linked duplicate, thinking it wouldn't work since I'm not an admin or anything and it removed! This needs reporting to Xfce bug tracker. I will do so if no-one else has by next week.
