Thanks for the report. Could you try playing the file with gstreamer
(the engine which rhythmbox uses to play files) from the command line?
Something like
gst-launch-0.10 playbin uri=file:///path/to/your/file
and see if the same happens there.

I've just re-extracted the track from the audio CD, the new file skips
in exactly the same place. The track plays fine from the audio CD.
