This would be an unimplemented feature. Currently those manually
populated tags are only used to populate the tags in the files ripped.

I upgraded Banshee to the latest version and I still see that Banshee
doesn't remember or store CD album/track for previously played CD's. It
was not able to fetch the CD info for the CD I was playing, so again I
manually entered the album name, artist name, track name when eject
and reinsert
