Title:
xmodmap modifications get reset once and a while

Status in indicator-keyboard package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I change my keyboard layout using and .Xmodmap file. First of all, after
upgrading to quantal,
the changes were no longer applied when logging in with lightdm, so I have to
manually run
xmodmap ~/.Xmodmap in a termina.. This might be related to lightdm, but I
suspect not, since
also, once in a while being logged in for a long time, the keyboard layout
changes are completely
gone, and I have to rerun xmodmap ~/.Xmodmap again.

I haven't yet found a reliable way of reproducing it, apart from that it
usually happens a few
  times each day.

I don't know whether this bug is related to unity, but if you give me some
hints on how
to find out where the bug is, I'd be happy to investigate.
