Public bug reported:

When I open a document in evince and attempt to resize it, the resize
control in the lower right corner will resize the window to the maximum
size, rather than stay under the cursor.

Grabbing a window edge and resizing from there works as expected, so as
a workaround, I can resize the evince window to the size I want by
dragging from the window edges rather than from the corner control; but
the workaround is annoying and cumbersome, and the impulse to use the
corner control is hard to unlearn.

I include the OS version info etc and below that a command-line sequence
demostrating the problem. Between the first and the second xwininfo
commands, I just barely had time to reach for the mouse and click and
hold the button over the bottom-right corner of the evince window.

I am running Xubuntu, pretty much out of the box. Perhaps the problem
is in the window manager or something? For lack of repeatability in
other applications, I am assuming this is a bug in evince, but I could
of course be wrong.

I am running dual monitors, the screen geometry as reported by xwininfo
-root is 3840x1080.
