After installing Nvidia
From a quick Google, it looks like the N56VZ has Optimus (Intel+Nvidia
hybrid) graphics, which is why installing nvidia drivers directly
doesn't work. If 'lspci | grep VGA' command shows an Intel and NVidia
GPU, then you need to remove the nvidia driver you tried to install and
follow:
