Public bug reported:

Ubuntu Raring Ringtail development branch
pidgin 1:2.10.7-0ubuntu1

I upgraded from Quantal to the Raring development branch, and my IRC
accounts on Pidgin are not connecting as usual.

I went to the account window, and it seems that the protocol is unknown.

In the account settings dialogue, the drop-down box allowing me to
choose the protocol does not list IRC.

I was not sure whether Pidgin still supported IRC (why wouldn't it?) so
I checked the help files and the webpage but there was nothing indicated
that support was dropped.

** Affects: pidgin (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Confirmed
