No agreed its not an Intel Graphics Driver issue. Evidenced by the re-install
of the drivers. The issue has been fixed now. Ubuntu released updates which I
installed on 4/3/13 which resolved the issue. I do not have a full list of the
updates to hand but I remember they included:
libgl1-mesa-*
v
Whilst nomodeset is in effect, it is not an -intel driver issue.
