Public bug reported:

Just installed Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on Powerbook G4 (powerbook5,4) I have.
Previously, I've spent hours researching and troubleshooting "no sound"
problem on this box, without a success, following all instructions
published on the subject of powerpc sound troubleshooting, etc. Decided
to go for the help from community having 12.04 TLS freshly reinstalled
and problem reported as a bug.

Details generated with 'ubuntu-bug -s audio' should be attached to the
bug.

Ideally, Ubuntu OS loaded on Powerbook system from a Live CD should be
capable of correct audio handling (not the case since 11.04), I don't
see why not.

Thank you.
