Do you mean node 0x10 is the subwoofer ?
try hda-jack-retask or early patching to fix the pin default
Node 0x10 [Pin Complex] wcaps 0x400500: Mono
Pincap 0x0010: OUT
Pin Default 0x40f000f0: [N/A] Other at Ext N/A
Conn = Unknown, Color = Unknown
DefAssociation = 0xf, Sequence
does this pin conf similar to windows ?
static const struct hda_pintbl hp_dv7_4000_pin_configs[] = {

snd_hda_multi_out_analog_prepare() in hda_codec.c
if the speaker pins were placed in mout-extra_out , both speaker and subwoofer
had the front channel signal
there was a changs in auto parser and the speaker pins are placed in line out
and this require 4 channels instead of stereo
for (i = 0;
Raymond yes. The subwoofer is in 0x10 node. Yes your pinout work (the actual
hp-dv7-4000 already in kernel do it to, similar).
About the volume control seems your patch is OK, but I didn't test yet.
I already write a patch for mine mode specific case ( almost copy paste and
changed the zephyr
copy front can also let the subwoofer get the stereo signal only when
mout-num_dacs is set to 2

Before the regression the mono mono mux NID=19hwas pined to DAC=0 NID=13h or
