I have also tested this machine with RedHat 6 and kernel 2.6.32-431.5.1.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Fri Jan 10 14:46:43 EST 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux With this OS laptop can change brightness and suspend. It still doesn't resume properly though. Sscreen is unusable but TTY works fine so it is
