This seems to be a recent regression after the update to chromium 29. I
can't have thunderbird open links with chromium..
thunderbird=17.0.8+build1-0ubuntu1
chromium-browser=29.0.1547.65-0ubuntu3 (I think that's chad test build still)
In System > Default Apps, chromium is set as the default browser and
appears as "New tab" with the chromium logo, if that has any importance.
Incidentally, while trying to file the bug, ubuntu-bug could just open a
window but not have it open on the launchpad bug link.
