The bug went away after some package update for several months (wow!) in
16.04 -- therefore I refused to run updates all this time to get a bit
of "normal life" during typing ;)

Random stuck keys on Lenovo Yoga 13
I have suffered a similar problem for the past year on a yoga 13 (since
I noticed setkeycodes e03e in syslog) on ubuntu 15.04 x86_64 with the
latest updates. And I do have the latest bios (66CN55WW) since before
the problem appeared.
The arrow keys behave as if they are stuck while scrolling in
Another problem is that while holding down say the right arrow key to select a
few characters of text, suddenly the arrow key starts generating a digit so in
an editor, it erases what was already selected and produces a stream of 6's or
so. Let's see if I can do it right here ...

This problem was fixed (as per the bug in comment #6) by upgrading the
firmware of the Yoga to the latest version (66CN55WW).
