** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 1195547 Reconsider third-party-cookies-off-by-default.patch -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to chromium-browser in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1253157 Title: Default third-party cookies policy too aggressive Status in “chromium-browser” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Currently all third-party cookies are blocked by default. In my opinion this setting is problematic in it's current form as it breaks too much. For example it currently breaks anything that uses googles javascript client. (See http://code.google.com/p/google-api-javascript-client/issues/detail?id=115 for details) Maybe a less aggressive policy would be more appropriate. For example accepting third-party cookies only from visited sites, like discussed for future versions of Firefox.
