Hi Christopher, Thank you for your response but I have no problem with Libre. I have used Libre with no problems it seems very much the same as OpenOffice. I didn't even mention it in my complaint. I realise that 10.04 is finishing but it is the only disc that works. I burned 4 12.04 's and

Hi Christopher again ! I will send you a DMESG extract to explain what I'm talking about. Meanwhile I managed to get Precise working again,but my sound problem still exists. XP has no problem using it which proves that it is not a hardware or volume issue. Best regards Theo Bagchus P.S. I
