I just tried this:
~$ speaker-test -c 6 -t wav -Dhw:CARD=CA0106,DEV=0

I have problem with this soundcard too...front left speeker is ok, but
front right speaker has no sound. I have Ubuntu Gnome 14.04 amd64
version.
