You have been subscribed to a public bug: Repro steps: 1. Install Ubuntu 14.04 2. Reboot and log in to Ubuntu 3. Open firefox and browse to "http://google.com/chrome"
Expected outcome: Page loads and is viewable Actual outcome: Page loads, but then the whole system freexes. Upon moving the mouse a bit (changing the mouse's state) the entire screen becomes a black and white screen (the black bars are larger than the white). What have I tried: I have tried updating The linux Kernel. I have tried updating all "Security Updates" including "ubuntu base". I have followed the instructions at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/DebuggingSystemCrash I have run a memtest (came back clean) I cannot repro from the command line as the problem is in a GUI program. I will attach the /var/log/kern.log that the wiki page asked me to create. ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bot-comment -- black and white vertical bars https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1327572 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
