This should be fixed with libreoffice-1:4.3.0~rc2-1ubuntu1~utopic2. Not
ideal to disable mergelibs (for performance reasons), but at least there
should be testable build of rcs now.

(look at 'kde.xml', suits 'kde.xml' for your distro)
sudo update-mime-database /usr/share/mime
sudo apt-get remove libreoffice*
sudo apt-get install libreoffice

It is a known problem which effects all builds of 4.3rc1 in the prerelease ppa.

Note that I cannot collect info using apport: it does not detect the fatal
error, and "apport-bug libreoffice" will not proceed due to it not being an
official Ubuntu package
