Hi gpothier, other applications affected are synaptic and liferea. I've just reconfigured my monitors so that the top edges align rather than the bottom edges. My menus now display in the correct position. Does this work for you? I'm adding gdm to the bug report as I don't think leaving it

Adding screenshot of a LibreOffice menu which consistently appears well below where it should. This is on a large monitor acting as the primary display. Anything that appears on the laptop's monitor displays correctly. I think this bug report needs reassigning away from Firefox but I'm not sure

I haven't seen the problem in other applications, but I mostly use Firefox. Other apps I regularly use are GEdit, Nautilus, GIMP and Eclipse. LibreOffice I use sometimes, but not that much. I did see the issue with menus in Firefox though, but it has not happened to me in a while, so I assumed

I'm seeing something similar with menus and dialogs in Ubuntu GNOME 17.04 especially when using LibreOffice. I have two monitors of different sizes and I see this on the second larger monitor. May be your problem is not with Firefox but with GTK/Gnome/GDM etc? Are you seeing this with any other
