Public bug reported: After a fresh install of Rhythmbox, trying to run from the app launcher in GNOME desktop results in the attempted-opening-rhythmbox instance unresponsive. After ten or fifteen seconds, it says this program has failed to respond, and asks me to Wait or Force Quit the program.
