I just tested it with this version of Chrome on Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS Version 88.0.4324.41 (Offizieller Build) beta (64-Bit) Normal soundouput like videos and phone rings (MS Teams) use my selected sink, in my case the headphones. But as soon as I want to use the microphone it uses my internal

I wonder whether this might be an upstream bug. Would you be able to test with chrome (get it from https://www.google.com/chrome/) and see if it's similarly affected? If it is, could you please file a bug at https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/list and share the link to it here? Thanks!

I've got the same bug on Ubuntu 20.04 with Chromium 86.0.4240.183 when using Teams. Every time I call someone or someone calls me it switches source and sink to my internal laptop microphone and speakers. Then I have to go to the sound settings where it still shows my headphones as source and
