Public bug reported: This bug affects hexadecimal numbers in "Programming mode":
If a hexadecimal line ends with the hexadecimal digits "AC", the calculator interprets this as "Acos" and refuses input. Maybe other combinations of hexadecimal digits have a similar effect. Example: 9A+D7+AC As a work-around "+0" can be added to the line: 9A+D7+AC+0 ** Affects: gnome-calculator (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-calculator in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1838226 Title: Hexadecimal numbers ending with AC not working Status in gnome-calculator package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: This bug affects hexadecimal numbers in "Programming mode": If a hexadecimal line ends with the hexadecimal digits "AC", the calculator interprets this as "Acos" and refuses input.
