I am now on a fresh install of 20.04 and can confirm that this works. I have a theory: Did github change their copy content from "git clone http" to "http...", I might have been thrown of from the different practices. I am sorry, closing the bug. -- You received this bug notification

Can you maybe install gpaste and monitor the contents of the clipboard when pressing that copy button? This would help diagnose exactly where the problem lies. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu.

You're not wrong, I can't say the bug is in Firefox. All I know is I have a problem and that is when i push the copy button on github, gitlab or whatever site that has autocopy to the clipboard, It's not going to my clipboard. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of

I can't reproduce the issue either in a clean and fully up-to-date 20.04 VM. Tested both the firefox deb and the snap, under x11 and wayland. All combinations work as expected. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in

Thank you for the report. Do you know whether you are using the firefox deb package, or the snap? Can you share the URL of a web page that highlights the problem? ** Changed in: firefox (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of
