I have updated yaru-theme from focal-proposed.
I confirm that together with gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock previously
updated from proposed this fixes the issue for me in focal.

Hello Alexey, or anyone else affected,
Accepted yaru-theme into focal-proposed. The package will build now and
be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/yaru-theme/20.04.7
in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
Please help us by testing this new package. See
setting back to verification-needed as yaru is going to be accepted to
focal soon, so no need to mark it as a failure (as when using Ubuntu
dock in the gnome session this it will work properly)

After one of the recent updates, clicking the Show Applications button in the
very corner of the screen and at its bottom edge doesn't work. This bug applies
in the cases of left and right positions of the dock and there is no this bug
in the case of

Thanks, indeed it's an usability issue. It's late now to have the fix in the
release but we plan to do a SRU with pending fixes soon and the change should
be included
