Title:
  nm-connection-editor crashed with SIGSEGV in malloc()

Status in “network-manager-applet” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I have Ubuntu 9.10 installed.  I am just reporting this here as Ubuntu
  asked.  I have a Dell Inspiron 1721 and have been trying to connect
  with WPA so, I did a 'restart network-manager' from the command line
  due to the new upstart dealy-o and that happened.  Wish I could be
  more help.
