Bug is still present in Utopic, and even with jp2 thumbnailing disabled:
$ gsettings get org.gnome.desktop.thumbnailers disable

In my case this is a security certificate, but Nautilus tries to extract
a thumbnail as if it's an image file - and crashes.
I have tried this with random data, and by truncating the file, but
