Okay -- this issue appears to occur across distributions. I'll open an
upstream bug. In the meantime, it might make sense to hide this feature
until it works -- maybe build brasero without libburn support.

I'm having the problem on Fedora, Ubuntu and Linux Mint Debian Edition.
Disabling libburn fixes it on all of them.

Xavier, that is a report against brasero. I think it is best to file a
bug with the libburn devs -- if possible.

In the meantime, does anyone see anything wrong with disabling on-the-fly burns
until this is fixed?

No problems so far on three distros. I would still like to know what

I also think it's better to disable on-the-fly burns on Brasero until
this is fixed...

Brasero finishes without error but
Sorry, I didn't understand the upstream was also for libburn.
I agree with previous comments, as long as bug is not corrected it's
better to disable on-the-fly burn in Precise.

Brasero finishes without error but unusable media
For those affected, please try this PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~ayan/+archive/brasero
I'm not sure if we'll be able to get this in since were in feature
freeze right now but I'd be interesting to know if it works and if this
causes any regressions.

YES, I do confirm both solutions:
- the bring-again-to-life commands for RW disks of Tom Jaeger (thjaeger)
on
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/brasero/+bug/780117/comments/17
- the libisofs low priority fix of Cyrus Lien (cyruslien)
I've tested both on an fresh USB Live of Ubuntu
@Cyrus Lien: I've tested the libisofs priority change and all my DVD
burns are readable! Thank you so much! I would still like to know why
this works though.

@Cyrus Lien: I'm going to try out changing priority for libisofs. Do you
have any idea why that would solve this problem?
