Title:
Suggestion: faster access and more usability for unity dash

Bug description:
The dash itself is a gift, but in some use cases through the current dash we
lose some unnecessary clicks and seconds in navigation.
The other thing is that a lot of people miss a "start menu" which (in my
opinion) in 99% of cases isn't necessary. the fast way of exploring the whole
list of applications of a certain category is what a start menu gives. i dont
think that we have to go back to the start menu, but we have to improve the
dash itself.

the most important improvement can be done in the Initial Dash screen.
I haven't seen that I use it or alot... the truth is I nearly don't
use it, so the initial dash screen is a extra step for me if I want to
explore the installed applications in a certain category... (first
clicking on upper-left dash button, then clicking on "more apps" and
then clicking on "All applications"... these are 3 clicks in
comparision to 1 click in the traditional start menu....

so what could be a solution?

  - Add the "All Application" Drop down menu also in the initial dash screen
(SEE PICTURE in attachment)
  - Open Drop Down menu on hover. (SEE PICTURE 2 in attachment)

  Result:

  - Nearly same experience as in start menu without leaving the "dash-way".
  - faster access to application categories
  - less clicks
  - less time waste
