Title: Firefox in Unity displays duplicate information Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: The default title for Firefox windows contains the current selected tab name before the application name. This duplicates the information seen on the currently selected tab. This is particularly evident when an application in maximized (as in the screen-shot attached). Why do I need to see "Ubuntu Start Page" in the tab as well as directly above in the title? I can see no added value to having this information appear twice and it detracts from the clean and efficient look of Unity. This behaviour *IS* useful however if the tab is hidden (de-select Edit/Preferences/Always show the tab bar). Ideally the name of the current page should only be displayed once. Having it in the title when no tab is present and removing it from the title if present in a tab would do this. There is similar inconsistency / duplication with tabs in Nautilus. Nautilus does not display the application name in the Title bar at all (which would make sense) but it does display the tab name (which doesn't make sense because it duplicates information that is already visible).
