This is a nice example: http://design.canonical.com/2011/11/getting-in- touch-with-us/ They offer us to join #ubuntu-design When you clic on it a pop-up appears to ask you what application you would like to choose. If I would like to choose an other application it directs me to my home-folder

The Open With Other Application dialog already has a Find applications online [sic] button, which opens a broken dialog listing applications. (Broken because it doesn't actually let me install any of them.) I think a solution to this bug involves (1) replacing that dialog with a mode of Ubuntu
