files and then re-run intltool-update to sort out the unneeded ones.

I tried your Never turn off screen. Seems that it is only a new menu
entry but not backed by actual code. It folds to the 1 minute setting.
Simply choose Never, log out, log in, and you are on 1 minute.

Setting turn off to Never might fold to 1 minute, but its effect is
even worse - the screen starts to dim immediately after every mouse move
/ keystroke (as if the timeout of 0 was taken literally).
