Well I used gnome and now unity so I've no kdm installed. GDM works but
there is a lot of clickin :|

I have uninstalled gdm and reinstalled lightdm and it didn't change
anything.
Right now I've decided to come back to gdm. it works. Not as smooth as in
previuos version.. but works at all.
With gdm when I use switching user applet - system first shows the locked
screen then I have to click on
does it work if you uninstall gdm?

thank you for your bug report, do you use gdm or lightdm? Is that still
an issue with yesterday's update:

sets PATH, not
I use lightdm but I upgraded to oneiric in July so gdm packages are
still installed. Actually after update lightdm package I can't switch
user at all. When i use switchin user applet and the login screen opens
I write a password and this is over. Nothing happens - I cant login
enywhere cos there
