  Spell-checker Options ignored

Bug description:
  Steps to reproduce:
  1. Right click in a text field
  2. Choose Spell-checker Options
  3. Pick a different language
  4. Right click in a text field
  5. Choose Spell-checker Options again
  6. Look at the chosen language

  Expected result:
  The language chosen in step 3 is seen as chosen in step 6.

  Actual result:
  Half the time the language hasn't been changed, and the language that was 
active before starting is still shown in step 6.
