The utouch-geis xcb backend has been deprecated and obsoleted in
precise. This will not be fixed. If you still see this issue on precise
with the latest packages, please open a new bug.

So I haven't been able to reproduce this issue with the media keys
normally. What it actually correlates with is my bluetooth headset
pairing with my laptop; I thought it might have been the media keys
because whenever I pair the headset it spontaneously emits a media key

I reproduced the crash while running under gdb and captured a full core
file. The attached file contains the test pdf I used (unlikely to be
important, but better safe than sorry) and the xz-compressed core file.

Based on an examination of the stack trace and some of the referenced
code, I believe this to be a bug in libutouch-geis and not necessarily
evince. I have opened a utouch-geis task for this bug so that the utouch
devs can take a look.

I experienced this bug immediately after resuming from suspend. I had
two documents open in evince, one semi-maximized to the left side of the
screen and one semi-maximized to the right side of the screen. Both
documents crashed before I had interacted with them at all.
