I'm sorry, I'm new and I don't understand the Ubuntu bug system.
In the title this bug says and backport to 12.04 LTS Programmers know
what *AND* means, right? ;) It's not conditional.
I read Fix Released but I can't find this in Ubuntu 12.04? How do I
request a backport?

I'm working on merging into quantal, if you're interested in a backport,
please use the requestbackport tool from ubuntu-dev-tools once it's in
quantal. That tool will let you know how much testing is required for
the backport.
