I still get intermittent crashes In FF 9-11 on ubuntu when I play with the
dom inspector. Granted it's in Firebug I'll see if I can get it to crash
with some of the native FF debugging tools.

can crash firefox by typing:

It crashes everytime when I get to i, as also noted

I've to support @wild_oscar, latest updates didn't solve the problem for me.
Now I'm using firefox 11.0+build1-0ubuntu0.10.10.2 on Ubuntu 10.10 x86_64 and

Unfortunately the bug wasn't fixed with the most recent update.
I've just tested it and got a firefox crash twice. You can see the crash

I just tested it and it works fine here. Perhaps you're experiencing a
different issue? I even disassembled the new binary and the issue I

I've just confirmed the presence of this bug in Maverick with Firefox
10.0.2-ubuntu.
1) Start firefox
2) Open the console tab in firebug
3) write self
4) Firefox crashes.
I've tested with a clean Firefox
It will be fixed in the next update
