the keyboard layout indicator will not be rewritten “to be a proper
indicator” within the Raring cycle.

Definitely, a new indicator is much better than fixing a bug in an
expected-to-be-obsolete component. Let's hope it will indeed be available soon
via PPA.

I'm sorry for bothering all the subscribers, but this bug still exists in
Raring. As I can see from the blueprint
