And I have now found out that it is no longer any need to install the presenter
console as downloaded from oracle's site, as it is included as a package in the
softwarecenter.
Sorry for not finding this out at an earlier date.

I have now tried the presenter console 1.1.0-Linux-x86. LibreOffice does
not crash anymore, but the plugin does not install, due to fault as
shown on attachment
