After updating the system to 3.2.0-56 the xrandr script works fine with the same radeon 6.14.99 driver And you can switch to the lowest 800*600 resolution setup as well. Therefore I'll set this bug as Fix Released, if you are still having this issue, please feel free to open a new bug. Thanks
