I believe this is a problem with AppArmor in 12.04. I've been using
this same setup for a while now, so I don't think it affects previous
versions.
In /etc/apparmor.d/tunables/home, HOME is rigidly defined as /home/.

This could very well be a side-effect of using non-standard paths for
homedirs. If you are going to change that, you do need to allow that by
editing the overrides for HOMEDIRS in:
/etc/apparmor.d/tunables/home.d/ubuntu

Yeah there are no details stored the passwords and keys applications.
There is no output to the terminal ??? this i don't understand I was
sure there was something. After I open the application i created some
accounts then closed the applicaiton. When it was reopened up the

do one thing restart your system than dont open the empathy and search password
and keys in the dash and open it
than see how many accounts are present there ?? and is their details are there ?
than run empathy through terminal and get that out put and paste it here
