Unity option in Compiz settings that is disabled, but Compiz settings
isn't installed by default (or wasn't for me anyway).

When I log out of my desktop I get some files in ~/.config/gnome-session

On 15.04 the problem still occurs. And as of this version of Ubuntu,

glibmm 2.45.40 requires C++11, both for its own build and by any apps
that use it. gtkmm also now requires C++11.
I think you are seeing a symptom of building the application without
C++11 support. For instance, using CXXFLAGS=--std=c++11, though you'd
be better of using an m4 macro such as

For anyone who didn't get the message, fixed versions of the the 440
driver (with legacy GPU support) and the 446 driver (which only supports
relatively recent GPUs) are now available in the official trusty-
proposed repository. A few people (including me) have reported trying
them with the 3.13
The issue here may be that vivid libegl1-mesa-drivers is a dummy transitional
package. So there is no libegl1-mesa-drivers-lts-vivid package.

When deleting the ~/.thunderbird directory and trying to add up an email
account, it will always return username or password error when contacting the
server. I've tried this with IMAP and POP settings with the same results.

Thanks for the script Hassan. I ran it and it garbled the graphics on my
system so I had to reinstall Nvidia. Good if it works for some people
though. I guess I will try the PPA fix next.
