I have the same problem, I cannot change the font size when I print and
the font is way too big to do anything with the printed document. I am
surprised that a bug report was filled in 2005 on this topic, and 12
years later I cannot find a way to solve this. Am I missing the right
option

When deleting files/folders by highlighting and pressing shift-delete,
files in a different tab are deleted instead. In one case, instead of

Oh. I wondered what «stage» meant in the URL, and looked it up. Looks
like it's the staging (a.k.a proposed?) repo for upcoming releases, with
unstable chromium builds. Do not have any idea how that repo has been
added to my system. Anyway Removing it and re-installing chromium
did the trick.

There is no natural scrolling option for mouse wheel in settings. Went
and changed /org/gnome/desktop/peripherals/mouse/natural-scroll to true
but mouse still scrolls the same.

i am having same issue on 16.4. i.e wired connection not connecting when
i am booting my machine and if i restart the machine its working file. i
was checked the kern.log it shows like

this problem is happenning to me as well, not only on ubuntu vm but also on
centos vm.
restart to the vm solves the problem.
but it seems to me like a virtual box issue.

Should a fix for this be backported to 16.10 and 16.04?
Are there people who have the relevant hardware available, and are willing to
test the fix on both 16.10 and 16.04?
I do not have the hardware available, thus without available testers I would
not want to upload this fix.

Per request in #30, I installed version 4.10. Everything seems to be
working just fine now. First Kernel outside of 4.4.72 that has worked
for me.

1. Used installation basis for 4.12-rc6: ubuntu 16.04.2, kernel4.8.0-36,

Test results differ from rc1:
no "boot finished" sound, no remote login (ssh).
Reboot/shutdown by SysRQ keys after about 3 minutes possible.

Thanks for the advise. There is no kern.0.log, but kern.log.1, maybe you
meant xorg.0.log (all attached)
Just had two complete freezes with an updated kernel linux-
image-4.8.0-56-generic 4.8.0-56.61~16.04.1 amd64. Switch to console and
REISUB didn't work thus hard shutdown. I've booted with
