The Unity Greeter does not reflect the currently chosen background as it
did in Ubuntu 13.10. I am aware of the permissions required so as an
example I selected a wallpaper that came with Ubuntu
/usr/share/backgrounds

the sticker (Ex. Dell Latitude E6410)?

I've marked precise as "wont fix" since it seems very unlikely that a
fix would be backported that far. It's certainly desirable for this
feature to exist, though there are some technical difficulties in the
way gsettings / unity-greeter work.

I just upgraded from Ubuntu 13.10 to 14.04 and Banshee now crashes at
startup.
Nothing else was changed. I tried reinstalling Banshee but that did not
help any either.

finally fully upgraded to 14.04LTS and 1280x720 is still not the list of
resolutions supported for the laptop's panel, thus certain projectors
and displays cannot be mirrored at more than 640x480.
