We have been trying to land this transition for about 9 months now (well

the removal of xrandr and idlemonitor code out of gnome-desktop. Robert

I can confirm this bug with all (official Ubuntu + xorg-edgers PPA) Nvidia
drivers on Ubuntu 14.04
(current 343.22 in use with GeForce GTX 570 ).
In my case there was only one solution that was really working so far by
experimenting without patch:
nvidia-settings
-Disabling the Allow Flipping
Unfortunately, it appears that the culprit is the nvidia binary blob,
switching to nouveau made the system reboot without a hitch. I did a bit
of housekeeping on the bug and marked the nvidia binary driver as
affected.
Sorry for the line noise.

What I can reproduce on another machine is:
1. create a file (ods) with default date settings
2. close file
3. change date setting
4. open file and find a different date displayed.
I don't understand why this is happening, because the content.xml says
01.01.14
which is no relative date
Further, I would expect that change to only affect ambiguous dates (in
file formats that do not use four digit years, for example) - because
what is the point in changing a date based on a program setting? Or
maybe when actually doing some calculation, because this setting is in
