I have Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with kernel 3.19.0-25 installed in a HP Probook 430 G3.
When I finished the installation, the sound doesn't works.
I followed the Andy C instructions and it works. I didn't use the alsa_setup.sh
script.
-I only put this lines in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf

The issue in 15.10 is a different problem, likely in pidgin 2.10.11
where each time a sound plays, it leaks a socket pair, eventually
running out of files. I'd guess its fixed in 2.10.12 with the commit
"Remove Gstreamer pipeline after playing a sound".

I have recently noticed that if I go to a website and then hover my
mouse over a link, it will give me an indication of the URL in the
standard Firefox way in one of the bottom corners of the browser,
however if the link for whatever disappears (for instance if some JS is

- option is 'grayed'
- only affect 'Lucid'
so that means 'transitional' mis-configuration when that report have been made
as this was not a 'security' problem, this has never been backported; and as
Lucid is now dead, that report is useless.

Indeed. We only ran into it once. At least there was only once such
incident at
Bug persists in 14.04 with latest updates.
For some time it was alright, but after one boot up it no longer shows main
menu, but conversation menu works
