Public bug reported:
Random freezing-- different freezing every time. I switched GUIs from
Gnome to Cinnamon and it seems to freeze less, but still averaging about

Hi Daniel, the driver that I have with ubuntu's support (the one that is
downloaded automatically) is giving me some problems. No freezes yet
(it's been around 6 hours).
The first problem is that the display does not seem to be claimed.
blaise@blaise-VivoBook2:~$ sudo lshw -c video
[sudo]
I would also like to add that the night light function and HDMI external
monitors seem to work in windows if I select to boot into that OS.
Thanks.

display. The HDMI works, the night light works, and now xrandr shows an
extensive output for my display. I wish I knew it was this simple awhile
ago haha! Let me know if you

Can't seem to replicate the crashes from comment #24-#26. Will update if

Thanks Daniel. I will uninstall and reinstall my amd driver. Is there a
reason that the AMD driver does not show up in the ubuntu additional
drivers app and is there a way that I can get one to appear there? What
other recommendations might you have? Thanks so much
